Many of our Teens/Kids enjoy competing in tournaments of various skill levels. In order to prepare our Teens/Kids for these challenging tournaments, we offer a competition class which is specifically designed to teach our Teens/Kids how tournaments function; how matches are conducted, scored, timed & refereed; match strategy & how brackets operate; and most importantly, we teach our Teens/Kids how to compete in individual matches. We do this by providing every student the opportunity to compete in practice matches. This match exposure trains our students to be ready to compete at full speed at the point they enter their first major tournament. This class has proven to be invaluable in preparing our Teens/Kids for competition in major tournaments at the State, National, & World Championship level.
